If your application is successful, the next step is the PVD Assessment, which comprises of a theory paper taken online under exam conditions with invigilation via video conference software, and a three hour practical assessment. At the moment, the practical assessments are on hold until we believe it is safe to restart them. Passing the theory assessment will grant you provisional membership on the understanding that you undertake to attend a practical assessment session within a reasonable time after they restart.
